Sobre o Palestrante:
Miguel Torres is a Professor of International Business at Kent Business School in the UK.
International experience: World Bank Group consultant on the Business Enabling Environment Report project in Washington, DC. Expert with the Better Methods Collaboration Group at Campbell Collaboration in Philadelphia, PA. European Commission, where he evaluates proposals for the Horizon EIC-2022-Pathfinder in Brussels, EU.
Courts: Licensed Insolvency Practitioner at MMT® (Lisbon) since 2015, he has managed the administration and restructuring of over 850 million euros in debt and assets across more than 600 insolvency and restructuring processes. In this role, his responsibilities included implementing procedures such as Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation, Company Voluntary Arrangement, and Company Administration, ensuring effective stakeholder coordination, and developing innovative solutions to mitigate the impact of disruptive factors. Judge-arbitrator at the CAAD (Lisbon) since 2017.
